From evidence to a decision

Instead of handing you raw records and leaving you to interpret them, Forge applies deterministic rules and preserves uncertainty when the available evidence is incomplete.

PROCEED

Available evidence supports proceeding.

REVIEW

A signal requires human review before proceeding.

AVOID

Confirmed evidence indicates unacceptable risk under the current rules.

INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE

There is not enough reliable evidence for a responsible positive decision.

What Forge checks today

Version 0.1 is intentionally narrow. It focuses on evidence we can verify and explain, rather than pretending to offer comprehensive business due diligence.

SEC company evidence

Forge checks the SEC company index for exact normalized company-name evidence. SEC absence is treated as non-adverse rather than automatically suspicious.

OFAC sanctions evidence

Forge screens official OFAC SDN records. A name match triggers review; a name match alone is never treated as a confirmed sanctions match.

Business-check requests are temporarily closed

The public request form and intake mechanism are disabled. The informational guides and fictional report preview remain available, but Forge Business Check is not accepting requests, customer information, payments, or early-access submissions at this time.

About the informational scope

Public requests and intake are currently paused.

What is reviewed?

Selected authoritative public evidence, including SEC company records and OFAC sanctions data.

Is this an automated clearance?

No. The educational material does not provide a completed business check or clearance.

What does it replace?

Nothing. It is an early-stage screen, not legal, credit, compliance, or comprehensive KYB advice.

Can I submit a request?

No. The public request form and intake path are disabled.

Current scope and limitations. Forge Business Check currently uses selected authoritative public evidence, including SEC company records and OFAC sanctions data, together with deterministic evidence-sufficiency and scoring rules. It is not a substitute for legal advice, credit analysis, regulatory compliance review, or comprehensive KYB due diligence.
